RETURNS
We hope you enjoy everything that you purchase from American Home, and we do our utmost to make sure you have all the information you need to make the best purchase decisions for you. We understand that sometimes circumstances come up that require items to be returned and we want you to know that we are here to help, before, during and after your purchase. You may return your furniture purchase within 3 days of receipt, and the items must be in original condition. To start the return process simply return your item(s) to our distribution center, contact your salesperson, or Text or Chat with us. If you would like to have us pick up your return, you can arrange for our delivery service to pick up the item for a pickup fee. Refunds on all items that were not labeled "non-refundable" at time of purchase will be issued back to the original payment method, except for cash transactions they will be refunded via a check made out to the name of the person on the order. All refunds will be processed promptly after the returned items are inspected.
Damaged Items
We take great care to make sure your new favorite household item reaches you in pristine condition. However, we know that sometimes accidents happen, we are here to help. We will gladly replace any items that are damaged or defective on arrival. The best people for that job are our friendly Warranty and Repair Service team at 505-761-3202.
Clearance and "As-Is" Items
We like to get you a fantastic deal whenever we can and two of the ways we do that is through our Clearance and "As-Is" items.
Clearance Items
Due to limited quantities and deep discounts on Clearance these items are considered non-returnable. If you receive a Clearance item that is damaged, we will do everything in our power to replace it, however, due to limited quantities, this may not always be possible.
"As-Is" Items
Due to known issues involved with "As-Is" items, these items are considered non-returnable and do not carry a warranty. Be sure to inspect these items carefully and talk with your salesperson before purchasing.

FURNITURE RETURNS
- You will need to contact us to start the return process within 3 days of receipt.
- A 15% restocking fee will be incurred
- All items must be in original condition
- As Is and Special-Order merchandise cannot be returned.
READY TO ASSEMBLE (RTA) FURNITURE
- All RTA items will only be considered for return if they are unopened
- You will need to contact us to start the return process within 3 days of receipt.
- A 15% restocking fee will be incurred
- As Is and Special-Order merchandise cannot be returned.
RUGS AND ACCESSORIES RETURNS
- You will need to contact us to start the return process within 3 days of receipt
- All items must be in original condition
- "As-Is" rugs and accessories cannot be returned
DIRECT SHIP RETURNS
Please make sure to keep all original packaging until you have decided to keep the item, as all items need to be returned in their original packaging, you are responsible for any shipping charges incurred.
- You will need to contact us to start the return process within 3 days of receipt.
- All items must be in original condition and packaging
- A 15% restocking fee and shipping fees will be deducted from the refund amount
- After the item has shipped from the vendor, refusals and cancellations will be treated as returns and will incur a 15% restocking fee and shipping fees will be deducted from the refund amount.
- Special-Order merchandise cannot be returned
